Suratgarh (Rajasthan), The Central Bureau of Investigation has
arrested an Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADEN), North Western Railway(NWR),
Suratgarh (Rajasthan) for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.50,000/- from
the complainant.
A
case was registered on a complaint of a Railway Contractor against An Assistant
Divisional Engineer (ADEN), NWR, Suratgarh and Senior Section Engineer (SSE),
NWR, Suratgarh (Rajasthan) on the allegations of demand of bribe for
Rs.50,000/- and Rs.20,000/- respectively for releasing the outstanding payment
of the civil work executed by the complainant. CBI laid a trap and the
Assistant Divisional Engineer was caught red handed while demanding and
accepting bribe of Rs.50,000/- from the complainant.
Searches
have been conducted at the premises of accused in Jaipur &
Suratgarh(Rajasthan). The arrested accused will be produced tomorrow in
the Designated Court at Jodhpur(Rajasthan).
