CM LAYS FOUNDATION STONE AND INAUGURATES DEVELOPMENT WORKS OF WORTH RS. 295 CRORES IN JODHPUR


Jaipur, Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that making our youth self-reliant by equipping them with skill is in the priority of the our government. The Mukhyamantri Kaushal Anudaan Yojana will be kicked off from the January 1, 2017 to make our youth skilled. Under the scheme youth can avail the loan of up to Rs. 1 lakh to get high quality skill development training, she said. The state government shall provide interest subsidy from 4 to 6 percent on this loan, she added.     
Smt. Raje was addressing the huge gathering at Ummed Stadium, Jodhpur on Saturday after laying foundation stone and dedicating to public various development projects on the occasion of completion of three years of the state government. She made various announcements related to youth, farmers, women, education, road, water and infrastructure development etc.        
   The Chief Minister said with the objective that farmers get quick benefit of the Crop Insurance scheme in a transparent manner the state government to provide tablets to Patwaris, Girdawars and Agriculture officers  so that crop and revenue record could be computerized. She said 16,250 tablets of worth Rs. 27.62 crores shall be distributed for this purpose. She said Mukhyamantri Shahari Jan Kalyan Shivirs shall be held from the next year. These camps shall focus on regularization of residential plots, houses and issuing of lease deeds in urban areas.     
      Smt. Raje said our government in the last three years has completed various tasks and the good results are visible. Our three years' achievements have left far behind the works of the previous government. The development has reached to villages and dhanis in the last three years. During our three years Rs. 13,000 crores have been spent on drinking water while the previous government had spent only 12,225 crores in five years. Loan of worth Rs. 45,691 crores have been disbursed to the farmers in these three years while the previous government had disbursed the loans of Rs. 43,000 crores in their five year tenure. In three years Rs. 12,509 crores have been spent in road development while the previous government had spent Rs. 6,108 crore in three years. Our government has given subsidy of worth Rs. 18,600 crores to farmers in electricity while the previous government had given 7,000 crores' subsidy for electricity to farmers. 
 The Chief Minister while mentioning the flagship Bhamashah and Skill Development programmes said, Rajasthan is on the first rank in skill development. We have set up 1870 ITIs including 223 in government and 1647 in private sector.  Rajasthan in first in the country in setting up ITIs in Government sector while on second position in setting up ITIs in private sector, she said. Rajasthan will be the first state in the country to have two Skill Development Universities, first one in government and the second in private sector, she added.          
  Smt. Raje said we are focused on development, so we have no time for politics while the previous government had no time for development works as they were indulged in doing politics, she said. The Chief Minister said due to our far sightedness and willingness to provide better future to our children we have made comprehensive reforms in the education sector and the result is visible as more than 13 lakh enrolment have increased in government schools. We have set up 9,895 Adarsh Vidyalayas in the state including 201 in Jodhpur district, she said.        
   The Chief Minister said development of Jodhpur is on the priority of the state  government and during last three years Rs. 11,640 crores have been spent for the development of Jodhpur district, she said.  Smt. Raje also made announcement of Rs. 25 crores for the development of inner roads of Jodhpur city. She said Centre has given in-principle approval for 103 km long Jodhpur bypass on which Rs. 1500 crores shall be spent. Annapurna Rasoi Scheme shall start in Jodhpur from January 26, she added.           Smt. Raje said cow owners leave their cows on streets and roads after milking which is a matter of concern for all of us. Our government is going to introduce Policy and Act for conservation and protection of cows. Rajasthan will be the first state to take initiative in this direction, she said. We are also thinking about opening Nandishala in every district of the state, she added.   
        The Chief Minister dedicated to the public and laid foundation stone for development works of worth Rs. 295 crores for Jodhpur district on the first day of her Jodhpur visit. She also inaugurated district level Exhibition, Rojgar Mela, Cancer Awareness and Health camp. She released some posters including Vikas Pustika of Jodhpur district.

Choudhary, PHED Minister Shri Surendra Goyal, UDH Minister Mr. Shrichand Kriplani, Forest Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, Revenue Minister Shri Amraram, Energy Minister Shri Pushpendra Singh, TAD Minister of State Smt. Kamsa Meghwal, Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, Chairman of various Aayog & Boards, other public representatives and officers were present on this occasion.
