Jaipur,Lt Gen Balbir Pama Director General Recruiting is on a two days official visit to Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Rajasthan .
He was updated by Brig Rajinder Bhatia, Deputy Director General Recruiting for Rajasthan on the ongoing activities in the Zone. He informed that Rajasthan having a Recruitable Male Population of 5.71 percent is a major contributor to the Indian Army. In past two years the Zone has conducted 19 rallies and has recruited 4549 men inclusive of all categories. The DG was also updated on the ongoing projects for automation which included the construction of the Computer Based Entrance Tests Halls at Jaipur, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur and Kota to bring in more transparency and credibility.
The DG was appreciative of the whole hearted cooperation being extended by the civil administration and the media in the state, for conducting of rallies. He congratulated the Zone on completion of 100 yrs of stellar service in the State and lauded the commendable efforts.
But he also expressed concern for Jaipur District where no rally has been conducted for last two years. The DG while addressing the Officers of the Zone, informed that whole recruiting process will be automated in next five years and there will be no compromise on the quality of intake of recruits.
