‘Lord Mahavir’s message ,
Jaipur, April 13: Extending her greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the Governor of Rajasthan, Smt. Alva said: “Lord Mahavir espoused the message of non-violence and the need to conquer one’s own desires rather than the external world. His teachings of non-violence in thought, action and speech hold the key to lasting peace.”
“His life and teachings should inspire us commit ourselves to simple living, non-violence,peace and harmony”, Smt. Alva said in her message.
