Politicians visited polling booths enthusiastically

Patna,Politicians visited polling booths enthusiastically on Thursday to cast their votes, as the nation had its fifth phase of the world's biggest elections in twelve states.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter and RJD candidate Misa Bharti, who is contesting from the Patna constituency of Bihar, visited the polling booth to cast her vote. The 39-year-old RJD leader said she will work for the upliftment of women. "My main agenda is to work for women, for the health and education of women," said Bharti.Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader C.P.Thakur said Narendra Modi's impact on the poll the process has convinced a majority of the people to support the party. "There is a lot of support in favour of BJP. People are attracted due to the influence of Narendra Modi," he said.
He added that RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar will be defeated by the BJP in Bihar. Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, who visited the polling booth to cast his vote, criticised the ruling Congress Party. "People will not believe somebody who makes promises towards the end of his term, because, when he had the chance, he did not do anything for Bihar," he said.Another BJP leader Yashodhara Raje Scindia cast her vote in the Shivpuri constituency of Madhya Pradesh.
