Nashik,
Narendra Modi
today accused Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi
of
cheating youths by promising them jobs and asked the young voters to remove the
"mother and son" UPA government
from the Centre. Taking
a jibe at UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra,
Modi said youth of the country never received jobs, but "jijaji"
(brother-in-law) received it.
"During
the last Lok Sabha elections
the mother and son government had promised jobs to 10 crore youth but they
failed to do so. They cheated (the youth of) the country as well as
Chhattisgarh," Modi said, addressing a rally in Bilaspur district
headquarters of Chhattisgarh.
"Since
the day, I was nominated as the BJP's prime
ministerial candidate, I am engaged in searching for solutions to problems of
every state, including Chhattisgarh. For 24 hours, I think about solutions to
Maoism, unemployment and poverty. Contrary to this, the Congress always thinks about a solution to a problem
called Modi," he said.
It is
clear that the Congress would not be able to even open its account in many
states during this general election, while it would also fail to touch the
double digit mark in any state, he said. Without
naming Congress leader Digvijay Singh, Modi said that under him, MP was known
as a sick state or a "Bimaru" (sick) state.
In
Nashik, addressing a poll meeting for BJP candidates A T Nana Patil and Rakshya
Khadse from Jalgaon and Raver Lok Sabha constituencies respectively, Modi
attacked the NCP chief, saying "since Sharad Pawar came to know the
results of the Lok Sabha polls earlier, he went to the Rajya Sabha."
