EDUCATION/MOTIVATIONAL TOUR FOR
SARPANCHES AND KEY OPINION MAKERS OF BANIHAL AND SURROUNDING AREAS TO
JAIPUR,UDAIPUR, AJMER
Jaipur, A group of Twenty three Sarpanches/Panches including five
women Sarpanches/Panches and Key opinion makers from remote villages of Banihal
Tehsil, district Ramban (Jammu and Kashmir) and its surrounding areas are on an
educational/motivational tour to Jaipur, Udaipur and Ajmer.. The tour
under project “OPERATION SADBHAVANA” will spend four
days in Rajasthan as part of their itinerary. They will be visiting a model
gram panchayat, small scale industry for manufacturing of Khadi, leather
products and marble handicrafts in Krishangarh. In Udaipur, the tour will
visit Pacific university, Pichola Lake and Kumbhalgarh Fort. In
Ajmer the tour will also visit Dargah Sharif, Anasagar Lake and Tara Garh Fort
and sight seeing in Jaipur.
The
unique and special excursion has been organised by the Rashtriya Rifles unit
based at Banihal and is yet another yeoman service by the Army for the people
of Jammu and Kashmir.
