INDO-FRENCH AIR EXERCISE GARUDA-V CONCLUDES

Jodhpur,The fifth Indo-French bilateral Exercise ‘Garuda-V’ which started on 02 Jun 2014 at Air Force Station Jodhpur (Rajasthan) concluded today.

The aim of this Exercise was to enhance Defence Co-operation between India and France; and learn through a better understanding of each other’s operational capabilities.  The exercise helped both Air Forces in appreciating the intricacies of planning and conduct of combat missions in an operational environment.The French Air Force which participated with Rafale aircraft, KC-135 Flight Refueller aircraft will leave India on 14 Jun 2014.
