New Delhi,A delegation of Officer
Trainees of Indian Postal Service and the faculty members of the Rafi Ahmed
Kidwai National Postal Academy, Ghaziabad led by Shri John Samuel, Director of
the Academy called on the Vice President of India M. Hamid
Ansari here today. They presented a set of Stamps on Miniature paintings
of India and a Memento to the Vice President.
The Vice President interacted with the Officer trainees on the prospects of
Indian Postal Service and various socio and economic issues. He said that Post
Office connects people everywhere and is recognized as a facilitator of
communication. India is a unique country from all aspects and also a big
economy in the world and gives a big avenue to postal service. He called upon
them to focus on good governance and wished them good success in their career
ahead.
