UDHAMPUR
(J&K) ,A tour to Bodh Gaya and Kolkata has been organized for
a group of 19 senior citizens of Ladakh region by Army’s Patiala Brigade under
the aegis of Trishul Division from 27 October to 09 November 2014. The
excursion was flagged off by Commander Patiala Brigade. The aim of
this excursion, organized as a part of operation Sadbhavana, was to provide an
insight to Buddhist culture and customs prevalent in other parts of the country.
The senior citizens have expressed deep gratitude for the initiative and look
forward to the tour.
