Bikaner,Lt
Gen Arun Kumar Sahni, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Sapta Shakti Command
visited Suratgarh and Mahajan Field Firing Ranges recently to witness the
Integrated Field Firing of ‘Ranbankura Division’. He was accompanied by Lt Gen
PM Hariz, General Officer Commanding Chetak Corps.
The field firing exercise involved all
combat elements of ‘Ranbankura Division’ like infantry, armour, mechanized
infantry and artillery as also live combat firing in a simulated battlefield
environment with the accompanying support elements. The combat skill
demonstrated by the troops reaffirmed their capability “to be the fear of any
foe”.
Lt General Sahni expressed his
satisfaction with the combat preparedness and endurance of the participating
troops and complimented the Division, for
organizing realistic training towards ensuring the operational preparedness
of the formation.
The General Officer also visited
Suratgarh Military Station and reviewed the operational preparedness of Sand
Viper Brigade. General Officer
congratulated all ranks of Sand Viper Brigade for their sustained hard work and
excellent standards demonstrated and exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest
level of preparedness.
