Chittorgarh, The Chief of the Army
Staff, General Dalbir Singh, visited Sainik Chittorgarh on 23 October 2015. The
COAS was given a Guard of Honour by the contingent Commander, Ankit Sharma who
is also the School Captain. The COAS interacted with the Principal, Staff and
Cadets of the School. He witnessed a breathtaking and synchronised PT Display,
Gymnastics and Horse Show conducted by the Cadets and nominated Army personnel
for the motivation of the School Cadets. He was also briefed on the giant
strides the school has undertaken over the years towards all round development.
The COAS addressed the gathering and expressed his deepest gratitude for
inviting him to his almamater. He encouraged the cadets to strive for
excellence and scale greater heights in all round performance. He appreciated
the tremendous growth of his Alma mater and complimented the Principal
and faculty for their keen involvement and selfless service. He took a
windshield tour of the campus and inaugurated the “NDA Hall” and
christened the academic block as “Academic Block”.
