Jaipur,
3rd Rajasthan International Film Festival which is scheduled from 14th
-18th of January is all set to showcase Rajasthani Films , which are
struggling to create its own audience and place since years. “Taawdo-The
Sunlight” and “Kangana” will be screened at the festival. “Taawdo” is a story of a Rajasthani village which
showcase the lives of upper and lower class together but with few social
boundaries.It is a story of an old women who belongs to lower class who help
two kids lost their way in a deserted land.Priti Jhingyani from bollywood is
the actress of the film. The music of the film has been given by Pandi
lalit.
Feature film “Kangana” is a family oriented
film highlighting 3 major social issues of Women Empowerment,save girl child
and eve teasing. A political background in the story enhances the drama in film. Shivendra Om Saniyol (Mr Gladrags) is debuting as a male lead
whereas Ruhi Chatruvedi will play the female lead.The film also has number
melodious songs sung by famous Bollywood singer Vinod Rathore, Raja Hasan
and Jayshree.Smt. Suman Sharma , Chairperson Women Commission also acted in the
film.

Founder of Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) says, “We will be
showcasing rajasthani feature in the festival. We have seen regional movies
grow at a fast rate. If the market of Gujrati, Punajbi and Bhojpuri movies can
grow, then why should we cannot promote our rajasthani movies? We are putting
our best efforts to take these films to such a level and hoping that it will
attract the audience”.
