Srinagar, A loud explosion occurred close to an election rally here
being addressed by senior ruling National Conference leader and Srinagar Lok
Sabha candidate Farooq Abdullah Sunday.Eyewitnesses said the explosion,
some 50 m from the rally in the city’s Khanyar area, sounded like a grenade
explosion.Abdullah, who was accompanied by
other NC leaders, told the rally: “These explosions will not deter me and
should also not deter you from coming out and voting for the National
Conference.”Police said no one was hurt in the
