CM Writes Letter to
Union External Affairs Minister
Jaipur, Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has
written a letter to the Minister for External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj
seeking her personal intervention for safe and speedy release of all Indians
held hostage in Iraq. Smt. Raje expressed concerns for security of these Indian
workers.
In her letter, Smt. Raje said that the Indian
workers were held hostage in the war zone of Iraq. Back home, their families
were in a state of extreme mental anguish. She said that the Ministry of
External Affairs was seized of the matter and took appropriate steps on this.
However, it was important that some assurance be given to the families for
speedy and safe return of all Rajasthanis, she added.
