Udhampur (J&K) ,A Medical, Dental and Veterinary Camp was organised today at
village Tsaka of Chushul Block, Sub Division Nyoma for the local populace. The
Medical Camp provided facilities of free medical checkup and treatment, dental
treatment and veterinary treatment of the cattle. A team comprising three Army
Doctors treated the patients and also distributed free medicines to the
villagers. A team of Veterinary Doctors and Assistants examined the cattle and
provided the locals with free medicines.
The Camp was well received by the villagers and
a large number of villagers and many a cattle were examined and treated. The
locals were also educated on the aspects of hygiene and sanitation in the
village to prevent the outbreak of diseases. The local populace
appreciated the services rendered at the camp and applauded the dedicated and
selfless services by the Army in the far flung and remote areas of Eastern
Ladakh.
