Udaipur/Jaipur, Dream Project of
the Rajasthan Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje was launched in Udaipur on
Independence Day. The Chief Minister is all set to empower women in Rajasthan.
She had planned this scheme during her previous tenure in 2008, much before the
"Aadhar Programme" came into existence. The vision was
very clear; empowered, capable and financially independent women will become
the new face of Rajasthan. Women in tribal and rural areas have been supressed
from centuries. This most ambitious and revolutionary scheme will give
financial freedom to all the women in Rajasthan. " This is the
era of women empowerment and women are the backbone of a better society",
Vasundhara Raje had said on the launch of this scheme.
The objective of this scheme is to transfer all the powers to
women by giving them "Bhamashah Card". Bank accounts will be opened
in the name of the lady of the house. She will be head of the family. All cash
and non-cash benefits under any public welfare & government schemes will be
directly transferred to these bank accounts operated by women only.
"Bhamashah Scheme" is an end-to-end service delivery
platform to transfer cash and non-cash benefits to the targeted
beneficiaries in a transparent manner.
CM Raje's 'prime focus' is always on the happiness of the people
of Rajasthan. Her passionate commitment with all the women will bring forth a
source of shinning hope for them. Her stand alone spirit and high leadership
qualities would definetely take us on new heights. This is the perfect
beginning of a new era in women empowerment with providing them social and
financial freedom.
