UDHAMPUR (J&K),An “Ex-Servicemen Rally” was organised by Ladakh Scouts
Regimental Centre at Leh. The rally was attended by a large number of
Veterans, War heroes and Veer Naris from across Ladakh Region.
During the function the fond memories and contribution of the
brave Veterans during their service career as well as those of the martyrs in
various operations since 1948 were rekindled. All Veterans, War heroes and Veer
Naris were felicitated and given appropriate financial assistance on the
occasion.

The “Awareness & Information Stalls” at the rally site
provided an opportunity to Veterans & Veer Naris to get acquainted with
various welfare schemes launched by the Indian Army. Medical assistance
was for extended those who attended the rally.
Mr Nawang Rigzin Zora, Minister of Urban Development, Jammu
& Kashmir, Mr Rigzin Spalbar, Chief Executive Councellor, Leh & Mr
Simrandeep Singh, District Commissioner, Leh also showed their solidarity
towards Armed Forces by gracing the occasion.
