A 27 year old youth died after
falling into Kund (a kind of pond or wide well) in Bheemlat waterfall, a
tourists –hunting spot in Sadar police station area yesterday afternoon. The
body was recovered from the Kund today late evening and was handed over to the
family members after the post mortem.
Station
House Officer (SHO), sadar police station, Subash Puniya told Vikas Yogi (27)
resident of Jhunjunu district had gone to enjoy picnic to Bheemlat with his
friends and relatives on Daturday. While taking bath under the waterfall, Vikas
lost his balance on sloppy rock and fell into the Kund around 4 o’clock yesterday
afternoon, Puniya said. The rescue operation was started immediately after the
incident yesterday but the body could not be traced last evening, the SHO said
adding the search operation was again resumed today early morning and the body the
body was recovered today evening around 5 o’clock. After the postmortem, the body
was handed over to the family members for last rites, he said.
Vikas
had come to Bundi to meet his sister, who is a nursing student here and
happened to visit the picnic spot Bheemlat waterfall yesterday and met the
misfortune.
