Blood Donation Camp post floods was organized with the assistance of Dist
Hospital Baramulla at the premises of ADS Baramulla today, wherein both Army
and locals voluntarily donated blood. The purpose of this camp was to help
patients requiring blood transfusion both at Baramulla and Srinagar post
floods. Lt Gen Subrata Saha, GOC 15 Corps inaugurated the Blood
Donation Camp and expressed his gratitude to the doctors, para-medics as well
as the donors both from Army and Civil fraternity who had gathered there
for the event.
Today during the third Blood Donation Camp 110 Army soldiers and
20 locals donated blood .The Army assured that more such Camps will
be organized in future also, in consultation with the civil doctors and
administration as soon as the blood banks of the hospitals get restored
. The event was attended by the CMO and Medical Supdt Dist Hospital
Baramulla along with their teams.
