Lt Gen Arun Kumar Sahni, GOC-in-C, South Western Command delivered
a talk on Military leadership at the Piramal School of Leadership at Bagar (Jhunjhunu) on 07 October
. The General addressed an august
gathering of corporate heads, Fellows and Principles of various government
schools from across the country. The General spoke on the relevance of military
leadership traits in all walks of life and particularly the takeaways for the
corporate world. The talk not only motivated the youngsters present but also
instilled a positive image of the Army leadership. The importance of young and
junior leadership was aptly brought out with an example of national hero Capt
Vikram Batra, PVC. At the end of the talk the Gen offr took on
questions from the motivated and spell bound audience. The general response on
this important facet of army leadership and a peek into the army life will go a
long way in instilling the values and ethos of military leadership.
